Webinar: Ethics and Compliance Program Essentials
Spend an hour and half discussing Ethics and Compliance Program Essentials with Laura Kennedy of SAIC and Patti Ellis of Raytheon Co.
Ms. Kennedy discussed the essentials of an ethics and compliance program under FAR clause 52.303-13, including a review of the elements of the clause; the steps that a contractor should take to comply with the clause; the requirements for the creation and monitoring of an internal control system; and how the clause relates to subcontractors.
Ms. Ellis focused on the execution of an ethics program and the importance of leadership and education. The program takes a closer look at the metrics and analytics that can be used to measure the progress of an internally created ethics and compliance program along with ways to educate your employees in ethics and compliance.
Finally, Mr. Trowel reviewed a step by step process for a "Periodic Review" program, highlighting the "special requirements" criteria, creating an effective plan, and assessing business and government requirements risk factors.
