Training & Resources
Since 1986, DII has helped train thousands of ethics and compliance officers and senior defense-industry officials how to comply with contracting laws at home and abroad. Equally importantly, DII has taught its members how to conduct themselves in an honest and ethical manner in all business situations.
DII continues that leadership role today. It provides free ethics training, instructional videos and webinars on the latest ethics issues to defense-industry companies. DII is mentoring suppliers and members in how to live up to — and go beyond — the requirements of the FAR, or the Federal Acquisition Regulations.
DII’s training curriculum has been effective. When GAO analysts recently surveyed 57 of the largest U.S. defense firms, they found that DII member companies had stringent ethics programs in place years before required to do so under the FAR.
