Defense Industry Initiative (DII) made great progress on the goal of expanding engagement with government stakeholders and 3rd party organizations as an exhibitor at the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) conference. Over 2,000 attendees participated in the conference held at the Navy Pier in Chicago, IL on July 23-26. The NCMA World Congress is the largest education event for contract management, procurement, and acquisition professionals. Individuals from government (federal, state, and local); industry; and commercial business come together for networking and training for all career levels.
The booth received steady traffic from a wide swath of attendees. The compelling DII mission, to ensure that our company’s have strong ethics and compliance programs, grabbed participant’s attention and raised awareness of our organization. The small business toolkit, model supplier code of conduct and the handout outlining the free quarterly webinars were in great demand.
